Q: How do I control who may access the digital edition?
A: You control the access in a non-secure setup based on the access url location or notification. There are many variations of how this access may be controlled based on the awareness or placement of the access location or lead in web page locations. For example, an email notification may be utilized with the URL link to your current issue. Secure username and password access options may also be configured from your publication’s website based on your existing web access utilities or may be installed for an additional setup fee.

Q: How long are my digital issues archived and available?
A: Your digital issues are accessible for as long as you continue the digital edition service. You control the ultimate access location links and your monthly hosting fee remains constant as you add more issues.

Q: What online visitor volume does the monthly bandwidth accommodate?
A: Visitors to online digital editions utilize approximately 1 megabyte per visit. The standard monthly service fee includes hosting for up to 45 Gigabytes of traffic or approximately 45,000 online visits. Additional bandwidth blocks are billed in increments of 20 Gigabytes (appx. 20,000 visits) at the rate of $50.

Q: How quickly can the service be setup and my first issue (or back issues) produced?
A: Setup can be performed immediately with your signed subscriber agreement. Typically, we request 10 business days to produce your current issue including advertiser enhancements. The live date can be coordinated to match the date your print publication is distributed. Twelve or more back issues can be converted within 30 days and this varies slightly based on the total number to be processed.

Q: Can I use the Digital Edition for a special circulation building promotion?
A: Alternate URL locations can be established for tracking of special promotions in which you have offered access to your digital editions based on a marketing promotion. You will need to supply the subscription purchase URL to track the ultimate number of new subscriptions that occur from this promotional version of your digital edition.
